What RSVP Expects of Volunteer Stations
What does an RSVP volunteer station provide?
To host RSVP volunteers, organizations generally agree to:
- Provide a safe service environment and appropriate workspace/supplies
- Assign a supervisor(s) who trains, supports, and tracks volunteer service
- Offer meaningful, clearly described assignments that meet RSVP guidelines
- Submit volunteer timesheets and share applicable data of volunteer service
- Follow non-displacement and non-partisan requirements
- Complete a Memorandum of Understanding with RSVP staff
- Coordinate with RSVP on any role-specific onboarding (examples: orientation, confidentiality expectations, background checks where required)
